technical, economic and preliminary environmental assessment sections
of their application are incomplete.
Commissioner Dian Grueneich
directed SDG&E to submit routes for the Powerlink that avoid
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

its application to address opponents environmental concerns and allow
for increased public participation, including
agencies and Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
Project opponent, Kelly Fuller, walks
78 miles of proposed route to raise awareness and media attention. |

California Department of Parks and Recreation
changed its official position from neutral to opposed to the line
running through Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, thus allowing
Parks and Recreation's legal counsel to defend Anza Borrego in the CPUC proceedings.
